manufactured in self-operated factories with world-leading manufacturing systems.
In year 2004, SHULOPAL was founded and successfully trial-produced opal glass products in Foshan, Guangdong, marking the beginning of its journey in the glass manufacturing industry.
The northern Opal Glass production base was completed and began operations in year 2012, achieving a daily production capacity of 200,000 pieces.
And The northern Opal Glass production base underwent expansion in year 2020, allowing for the simultaneous operation of 5 furnaces. This raised daily production capacity to 400,000 units. In the same year, a Materials Innovation Laboratory was established to drive R&D initiatives.
Up to now, SHULOPAL opal glass dinnerware factory’s production capacity reaches 490,000 pieces per day.
SHULOPAL has always been at the forefront of innovation in the application of OPAL GLASS materials. In 2022, we undertook a major initiative by renovating and relocating our old OPAL GLASS production line to Huizhou.
This marked the beginning of production for a range of OPAL GLASS products, including food storage containers, storage bowls, salad bowls, and more. In the same year, we introduced an advanced IS production line to expand our offerings to OPAL GLASS jars and bottles. These include storage jars, condiment bottles and jars, bathroom containers, as well as commercial applications such as cosmetic bottle packaging and beverage packaging.
As an industry pioneer, SHULOPAL leads the way in the application and manufacturing of OPAL GLASS across these diverse product categories.
In 2018, SHULOPAL expanded its expertise into the borosilicate glassware industry and invested in borosilicate glassware plant in Anhui, where is 300km away from our opal glass dinnerware plate. With daily production capacity of 180,000 pieces of different kinds of pressed items, including glass food containers, glass mixing bowls, glass oven dishes, glass casseroles and other accessories and kitchen utensils.
SHULOPAL has experienced rapid growth in the kitchen storage and cooking categories. Currently, our borosilicate glass production capacity represents 15%–20% of the total capacity in China.
Building on the cost advantages of our in-house glass tubing production line at the high borosilicate glass factory, we expanded our operations by establishing a new glass tubing processing plant in Fengyang, Anhui, in 2019.
This facility specializes in the production of tubular glass products, including glass storage jars, drinking glasses, teapots, kettles, coffee sets, and other related items, achieving daily production of 105,000 machine-made products and 15,000 hand-blown products now.
In 2017, we invested in two ceramic production lines in Liling, Hunan, to better serve our customers’ one-stop procurement needs for tableware products.
These state-of-the-art production lines specialize in high-quality new bone china and stoneware, with a current daily output of nearly 60,000 pieces.
