Borosilicate glassware manufacturing

In 2018, SHULOPAL embarked on its journey in the borosilicate glassware industry. Today, our borosilicate glass plant boasts a daily production capacity of 180,000 pressed items, Including all kinds of glass food containers, glass serving bowls, glass oven dishes, glass casseroles, and other kitchen accessories..

Introduction

The borosilicate glass food containers, bakeware, mixing bowls are made by press process. A molten glass gob falls onto the bottom mold of the press, and the punch above presses the glass block into the desired shape. There’re 12  manufacturing process lines at SHULOPAL borosilicate glassware production base.

Step #4 Press Forming

Molten glass chunks are placed onto the bottom mold of the press, and the upper punch presses the glass into the desired shape. Equipped with 12 fully automatic pressing machine, the daily output is approximately 180,000 pieces.

Step #5 Polishing

Every piece of product need to be polished by fire. The inner and outer surface and rim of the pressed products usually require polishing by fire.
5

Step #6 Annealing

After maintaining a constant temperature and uniform heating in the annealing furnace for a certain period, the glass is slowly cooled to eliminate or reduce thermal stress caused by rapid and uneven temperature changes during production, thereby improving the product's heat resistance and impact strength.
6

Step #7 100% on-line QC

SHULOPAL’s quality inspection team conducts a full inspection of all finished products after annealing according to the inspection standards. Every piece was inspected before packaging.
7

Step #8 Packaging

Assemble lids and other accessories , and package them securely according to the customer's requirements.
